Our annual conference is an opportunity for networking, professional development, and 5 CEU’s!

MCDA invites you to share and showcase your professional expertise, research, or successful practices. For consideration, submit a program proposal incorporating the theme: Helping Special Populations Across the Lifespan. Thank you in advance for your interest and support.

Keynote

Robert M. Orndorff, D.Ed., Associate Director, Recruiting and Employer Relations, Career Services, The Pennsylvania State University, recently published: “The PITA Principle: How to Work With (and Avoid Becoming) a Pain in the Ass” with Dulin Clark. Dr. Orndorff has agreed to be our morning keynote speaker. Discounted copies of the book will be available for purchase the day of the conference.

Featured Speaker

Pat Schwallie-Giddis, Ph.D., President of the National Career Development Association, and Associate Professor and the Chair for the Department of Counseling/ Human and Organizational Studies at George Washington University, will be our luncheon keynote speaker. We are honored to have her as our guest.

Conference Audience

The audience for the MCDA 2010 Annual Conference includes career and school counselors, counselor educators, workforce development professionals, career development practitioners at all age levels (K-12, post-secondary, adult) and in all settings (school, college and university, government, military, business, agency, one-stop career centers, corrections, and private practice).
