Keynote Speaker: Dr. Marty Jencius AKA "Technophile"
Dr. Jencius is the founder and list manager of
CESNET-L, a professional online listserv for counselor educators. He is the
co-founding editor of The Journal of Technology in Counseling, a web-based,
peer reviewed journal, and founder/editor of CounselorAudioSource.net, a
podcast series for counselors. Currently, Dr. Jencius's technology interests
include virtual worlds as co-founder of Counselor Education in Second Life . He
is also on the editorial boards of The International Journal for the
Advancement of Counseling and the Counselor Education and Supervision Journal
and is a writer/editor of a monthly column, The Digital Psyway, in Counseling
Today, the monthly publication of The American Counseling Association. Dr.
Jencius was elected to serve as President of the Association for Counselor
Education and Supervision for 2014-2015.
